What is unique about SurgeonHouseCall.com is that it seems to take the guess work out of the entire process of selecting a surgeon, which obviously is the most important of the decisions to be made. What I learned is that the world of " cosmetic surgeons" is inhabited by a wide range of different specialists; the variation in qualification can be surprising if not scary. I sense that as cosmetic procedures become more popular that even more MDs will enter the field. That will make the doctor- selecting even harder. This website will always be there to help erase the confusion by providing qualified cosmetic surgeons/ patient interaction and that is why I believe it is worth looking into. |

I love SurgeonHouseCall.com!!!! A couple of years ago, I finally worked up the courage to make an appointment with a local plastic surgeon to take care of my nose, but the experience was so nervewhecking that I did not go through with it after the appointment. Not only did I feel uncomfortable with that doctor, I wasted like 100 bucks on that consultation because I did not commit to the surgery!!! I wanted to see another surgeon, but I did not want to go through that same experience again. That was two years ago!!! Since then, I came across this website and through the support of other members of their forum, I decided to give surgery another shot and submitted a preconsultation. I was not expecting much, but it turned out that the surgeon who responded was very caring and informative. I ended up getting my nose done with him. He has been my surgeon ever since. This website is like eharmony but for patients who want plastic surgery and surgeons who can help! |

SurgeonHouseCall.com is such a wonderful website. I highly recommend it because you get to contact the plastic surgeons about procedures and costs. I have spent countless hours on the internet looking up the cost of tummy tuck procedures, but all the websites show some generic price range for a tummy tuck to be like $3000 to $8500. That does not help me at all! When I tried calling different doctors, they wanted me to make an appointment before they tell me the range of their cost. I think this is the only website out there that lets you narrow down the cost range because the doctors give you the estimates after you describe your plastic surgery needs to them. There is a small fee to do this but it is well worth it. That way you dont waste your money and time visiting different doctors just to find out the cost before you decide which one to go with. |

I liked that I can contact my surgeon in the comfort of my own home and on my own time. I have two kids and I barely have time for myself just like every other mother. This site gave me the freedom to talk to surgeons and learn about procedures at my pace so that I do not feel stressed out about trying to juggle both. |

This is the one stop place for all my online plastic surgery needs. They have a support forum for members, a huge library of surgery procedure videos about what particular surgeries entail, a financing and beauty products page, a database full of board certified surgeons to contact, and a preconsultation capability to ask doctors what the recommended procedures are and their cost! I had to go through tons of websites just to gather as much info (if not less) as this website has. |

Very professional and user friendly site! The pre-consultation feature helped me "break the ice" with the surgeon of my choice before I decided to meet her in person. This feature is very powerful because it prepared me on what to expect during my actual consultation with that surgeon. As a patient new to plastic surgery, I felt so much more at ease about going through this life changing processes because I feel like I know who my surgeon is by the time I see them. |

For those of you out there like me, who have always thought about getting plastic surgery (but was too nervous or embarassed to make that first call), this is a GREAT place to overcome that fear. This website allowed me to evaluate different qualified plastic surgeons BEFORE I meet them or make an appointment. The surgeons on this website have detailed profiles so I can see the procedures that they do, their before-and-after pictures, and what the surgeon themselves look like! The best feature that I found for this site is the ability to submit a "pre-consultation" to the doctors. All I did was take some pictures of my problem area, described it, and submitted to the surgeons on this site. Then they respond with things like recommended procedures, cost, and personal comments. Based on their response, I picked the doctor that I was most comfortable with, and made an appointment through the site. I wish I found this site sooner! |
